“Highly recommended, delicious flavors.”

THE VITALITY PROJECT
Lingewaard is a municipality in the east of the Netherlands inhabiting just over 47 thousand citizens. Small but mighty, Lingewaard is known for its colorful and rich landscape as well as its many cultural attractions. The municipality is also not lacking in the sustainability department: it’s putting efforts into cleaning up the local areas and energy neutrality goals, among many other initiatives.
THE NEED FOR A SUSTAINABLE WATER SOLUTION
A big concern for the municipality was that people don’t drink enough water, have strenuous jobs in front of computer screens, and lack balance between “effort and relaxation”. To encourage a healthier lifestyle all around, the Vitaliteitsproject (Vitality Project) was introduced, encouraging people to pay more attention to their vitality. As part of this, Lingewaard “looked for a way to encourage drinking water,” which is where the Aquablu REFILL+ was able to help.
THE SOLUTION
With the Aquablu REFILL+, Lingewaard municipality workers now have access to not only a sustainable source of water, but also drinks that are healthy, tasty, and functional. With its different flavors, drink choices, and added vitamins, the team referred to the REFILL+ as “delicious, a real asset!”
“Highly recommended, delicious flavors.”
THE RESULT
Aquablu provided an important addition to Lingewaard’s Vitaliteitsproject (Vitality Project) by offering a tool to encourage the consumption of water. The reduction of plastic cups and bottles was also an important aspect of the product, and the municipality has since provided field service workers with reusable water bottles to encourage sustainability further. Last but not least, it’s reported that cravings for unhealthy sweet snacks have also been reduced. Overall, the REFILL+ was the perfect tool to incorporate into the Vitality Project.
